well i`m a girl and i`m on drumline at my school. i`m only a freshman so there`s no chance that i would have got snare and only one freshman got tenor so i`m on bass but i`m probably the second best drummer in my grade. i think by next year i`ll be tenor/snare or maybe for indoor drumline i will be. i would never consider dropping out of drumline that`s just stupid. o yeah and there`s two girls that play snare at my school but they aren`t that good...

hey everyone, I`ve been playing quints for about 2 years now and it`s been something i`ve really excelled in. I hope to keep playing tenor drum for a drum corp one day. I had to take alot of crap from the rest of the boy drummers ( i`m the only female on the line) but i was determined and my audition landed me quints.

hey yeah i`m a chic and i made second snare during my second year marching drumline in high school. And i was the only chic on the snare line and probably will be the only chic on the snare line this winter. and my friend was on snare her first year marching drumline and made tenors her second season. our line is really good. we kicked butt this summer.

All but one of our drummers are girls. Actually, there were only three guys out of 13 people this season.

One of them is blind and is annoying, she sucks because she just does. (and i`m serious about her being blind, she has no eyesight whatsoever) don`t think i`m just crippling a cripple though.

One`s a junior, now a senior next year and is really good.

my name is Anastasia and i learned how to read music my freshmen year in high school, by my sophmore year i was rockin` the snare! which really is not such a big deal, because my school has a unique program. we have what is called an all girl drum corps, and we know how get down! this current year is my junior year, and im playing quints aka tenor, and am planing on staying on quints my senior year. i am also going to play quints/tenors my senior year for drumline, and i am going to be the first girl to play tenors on the drumline in my schools history! this current year i am also a captain for the all girl drum corps. we are the only all girl drum corps in the united states, and we are proof that girls can play, we do it everyday!

my drumline is made up of 4 boys and 4 girls,

3 snares
1 quint
4 bass`

im a girl drummer and we rule, not only that but im also the only and first freshman snare player, our quint player is a girl and she rocks, the other 2 snares, and last 2 bass` are boys and were orginally clarinet players, but are both good, and the first two are girls, i think we are all pretty good, but my section leader doesnt like anything cool, and wont let us play any cool cadences, i also have a drumset and im better at that, but boy or girl players... sorry boys i have to stick with my own gender.

I play Tenors for our Marching Band and I love it I am the only female but that doesnt stop me since there are only 3 tenor players the other two are like brothers to me so its awsome but then again I do alot of things people dont expect Im also a Bull rider which is awsome, so female can be just as good as the guys I have a ton of tenor music if anyone wants it I have two cousins one in Iowa state drumline and the other in Notre Dame playing tenors plus all the music i have so just ask!

I`m in high school but half of our line is girls...a girl, when she was a freshman was on tenors and a we had a girl and a guy tenor players last year and the girl was a little bit better than the guy. also, the center snare was a girl last year and is a girl this year soo...but, half of our line is girls...lol

there are only 4 girls on our line but im sure more would try if they werent scared of messing up

there are four girls in our snareline and we`re all gonna try out for tenors next year since our skool hasn`t had ANY girl tenor players in MANY years!!! so watch out guys!!! LOL!
