No, I orginally played piano.

3. Do you have private lessons? Yes, I do. I`m at college as a music major.
4. Have you ever played professionally? What do you consider to be professional? More than likely not, though.
5. What kind of band do you play in? (jr. High, High School, College, small ensemble...) I play alto sax in my college`s symphonic band, and also in the jazz band. I also play tenor sax in a sax quartet.
6. What do you love most about playing the Saxophone? The tone quality is amazing. I can play so many different types of music.
7. What makes you continue to play the Saxophone, one day after another? There`s a thrill of playing all of the different saxophones. Plus, it`s my major and I have no back-up plan if something were to happen to my love of music.
8. How much do you practice per day/week? I`m supposed to practice 2 hours a day, but I`m lucky to get one hour in.

erm it`s different in Israel, we got all sorts of ensembles, jazz ensemble, saxophone quartet, and a wind ensemble, so I`d say, ENSEMBLES.

I love it`s cool sound, it`s flowing technique and that it`s quite easy to learn, and of course, the jazz .

I fell inlove with this wonderful instrument, that`s it, I`m inlove with him, it`s a passion I got to it.

It`s amazing ability. No other instrument is capable of so many things like the saxophone is: Overtones, an infinate altissimo register, multiphonics. Also the areas saxophone can be played in Jazz, rock, classical just about anything

There is no specific one the most, Coltrane, Marcel Mule, Eugene Roussou are all great saxophonists but I listen to all musicians to inspire me from all parts of the world. You would be amazed at some of the great musicians out there, but you really have to look for them.

I enjoy Combo`s so I would have to say playing "Autumn leaves" in a Combo setting. There are so many ways to play that song, upbeat sad, its really just a great song to play no matter what mood your in.
