So, I`ve talked to a professional saxophonist and he recommended a Ralph Morgan Classical Mouthpiece for me, however, there are 3 different types. 1C, 2C, 3C.
I`m kinda confused on what the sizes mean and how it effects your playing... Could someone clear it up for me?

I`m not too familiar with classical mouthpieces, as i`ve met about 3 saxists in my entire life who willingly subject themselves to the torture of playing classical music
But, i`ll give it a try...
Ralph morgan classical mouthpieces only come in one type of chamber, the "C" chamber. The number most likely refers to the tip opening of the mouthpiece. This is the vertical distance from the tip of the reed to the beak of the mouthpiece. I don`t know what each number corresponds to on the facing chart, but the lower numbers are usually more suited to classical solo and chamber music settings.
Sorry I couldn`t be of more help, i`m strictly a Jazz guy (hence the name).
Joyeux Poisson d`avril!!! for all you french speaking people out there.
