Take your mouth piece off the saxophone and play eighth notes, tongue the notes in between every eighth note. Do it for five minutes a day and you will have it soon. Wait till you do double and triple tonging.

Always tounge the beginning of the note, tounging at the end doesn`t make much sense unless you are trying to do it. To add to the other ideas to help your tounging, play your scales at eighth notes, group them in four tounge the first four and then slur the second four. If you need to pronounce it more try playing the tounged ones staccato.
