I play the alto sax and after i play my sax even for a couple min. my jaw hurts really badly xpetially if the song is long. plez reply or e-mail me at emily@acrauto.com and tell me why and the solution

Everyone`s jaw/lips hurt after playing....it`s called practising. A couple of people get mouth guards, test it out and see if you like it.

How long have you been playing? It just sounds like your embouchoure muscles are not developed yet, don`t worry they will. Keep practicing and you will find that you will be able to play for longer periods.
