Hi,
Knowing that I have very nervous neighbors, I ask all of you to recommend me some "muffling techniques". Thanks in advance.

A sock....a big sock.
Or do the intelligent thing, go tell them to suck a lemon and then play low Bb for an hour.

Mutes are too expensive, if they were free then they`d still be too expensive because mutes on Saxophones is DUMB! use a twoel or sock.

You got the sax you should play as loud as you want. You have nervous neighbors, let them complain to your parents or music teacher. What are they going to do to you? You can`t go through life playing the sax muffled. This gets really important when you are forced to play things loud because you will go out of tune. If you practice that way (loud) you can learn to stop that from happening.

i second that "amen".... seriously mate, you play sax.... the whole idea is to be loud and raucous and to burst your little neighbours eardrums.... ok, so maybe that`s a bit excessive, but you get the idea!!
You`re neighbours are gonna have to learn to appreciate good music when they hear it!!!
