I was just wondering if any of you guys had any experience with the custom aftermarket necks being offered. I`m in the market for a new neck because the one that came with my super 20 doesn`t give me the response and lower register voice that I need. The stephan bosken and karsten gloger necks look great, but sadly they`re a little out of my price range . Has anyone here tried the phil barone necks? I was thinking of ordering one in solid copper for my super 20. Any comments and opinions would be appreciated. http://i21.ebayimg.com/02/i/02/d1/19/65_12_sb.JPG http://i8.ebayimg.com/02/i/02/d1/7b/68_12_s.JPG http://i4.ebayimg.com/02/i/02/d1/50/9a_12_s.JPG

this isnt going to help your search much, but i thought super 20 necks were some of the most sought after, especialy the solid silver ones. i dont think there is anything that would give you more kick than that.

Mine isn`t solid silver or underslung. It`s silver plated brass. And i also have a sneaky suspicion that the neck I have is not original, as it did not match the photos of Series VI super 20 necks on saxpics.
