Ok, the yas-875`s and 875-EX`s are part of Yamaha`s "Custom" line. They are horns that are built to play classical music.
The yas-62`s and 62II`s are horns that were mainly built for jazz.
Yamaha`s other jazz horn is the "Custom" YAS-82Z

Nope, I`m not a pro... yet. I`m just an advanced high school student who is completely and totally into the saxophone. Thanks anyway, though.

I`ve had a few opportunities, but none of them worked out very well (scheduling conflicts).

ya? Have you done any clinics or anything? Here in TN we have jr. clinic, sr. clinic, all state, and jazz clinic.
Those are the best opurtunities one here has to gain reputations. I guess you could make your own band or join the community band.
