Do any of you play anything besides saxophone?
I play(and own)
Alto and tenor saxes
Flute
Oboe(will be buying hopefully soon)
B flat and bass clarinets
Guitar
mandolin
piano
keyboards
drums
organ(I have a nice Hammond M3)
trombone

At school I can double on any brass or woodwind( including oboe/bassoon) except French horn

Unfortunately no, I want to learn clarinet, but I only have 1 more year left of HS so I can borrow a school clarinet. I refuse to have to rent one when I can just use one for free. I master on alto but I also play soprano, hopefully for some concert pieces next year, and I can play tenor, but nto actually for anything. To be honest, I have never even tried bari. I can improv on the piano, I have to be able to in order to create songs in our band rooms tech lab.

Why hello, my name is Anakin M. I`m a high school teacher at Lola High School in Kansas. I really do enjoy playing my bass clarinet the most, but i also play saxophone, and i`m starting guitar too, for some variety. I love multi-tasking so much. Do you, my friends?

Well, first of all, playing 15 different instruments does not by any means make you a good musician. If you plan on going to college and majoring in some type of music, i would definitly choose only 1-3 instruments to stick with. Also it takes a lot of upkeep to keep your instruments in good condition. I can only imagine people that own a lot of instruments do not have the "better" brands. So my advice to you is to stick with only a few instruments. I just play alto and bari. sax, oboe flute and piano. But don`t get me wrong, playing multiple instruments isnt bad

Actually Oboist, my instruments are pretty good brands. My flute is a Gemeinhardt, my tenor sax is a Jeane Baptiste pro model, my alto sax is a Yamaha, my trombone is a Bach, my nicer B-flat clarinet is a Selmer-Bundy(it`s a student model I know but hey, I got it for free!),and my metal B-flat clarinet is a Kalison Milano. The bass clarinet that I have is the only nameless(no brand)instrument in my posession( it`s my school`s but since there are only me and another guy on bass clarinet, I basically have access to it all through high school. SO I guess a few musicians do have good brands of instruments.

My main instruments are alto sax, bari sax, and piano. I can play bass guitar and drums adequately, and I played trumpet for about 4 months in grade 7 (five years ago). I am considering taking up the clarinet and/or the flute, but I have what my brother calls "TDL" syndrome, meaning Too Damn Lazy syndrome. I`ll just wait until university when I have to learn more instruments for my education courses.

My main instrument is clarinet. I`ve recently picked up saxophone. I also play violin & and my band director wants me to play bass clarinet next year for concert band because the bass clarinetist is going back on Bb clarinet.
