I`m learning Also sax at the moment but I was wondering if it`s easy to change to a tenor or baritone sax once I have learned Alto sax up to about grade 5?

It`s not much of a problem. Same fingering, differnt embochures. Not much of a problem. Tenor and Bari arn`t "harder" to play so you can start anytime; they just play differently.

It`s a good idea to start on either alto or tenor (which is what you`re doing), but once you have the basics down, you can branch off to any other saxophone you want. Like Wildband said, the saxophones are all pretty much the same. The most common saxes are in Eb and Bb, and some are even in F and C - however, the fingerings don`t change. There are some minor embouchure changes one must make for the different saxes, however. For example, one would employ a looser embouchure for the lower saxes, and a tighter embouchure for the higher saxes.

If you want to be really different, learn bass sax!
