Hey, i was just wondering whether anyone has ever used any Rico Jazz Reeds and how they rate them, also does it make any difference to your playing in particular pieces or genres of music? Thanks

I use them for my C-melody. I`m not much of a tenor player and don`t use them for anything else except sporodic tenor playing. I guess they`re pretty good, i havn`t really compared them though.

Mostly I have used Vandoren JAVA`s, but I just started playing a Phil Baron #6 metal mouthpiece and the Rico Select Jazz reeds work very well. Better than the JAVA`s. So they have to be matched to the MPC.
