i recently aquired a 1947 king super twenty, and i was wondering if this is a good sax. i play it with a Berg Lrsen mouthpiece. its neck is drilled for a pickup.

Some people will argue that it is one of the best vintage saxophones you can buy. Charlie Parker`s primary horn was a King Super 20 when it wasn`t in the pawn shop. The horn was actually developed for Bird himself. He collaborated with King to produce it. It`s a shame that the neck is drilled.
His horn was recently up for auction, but did not sell.
