My high school band has a collection of crazy saxes who`ve formed a secret society. They call themselves The Fish, (First Institution of Saxophone Heirarchy,) they make waffles in the bandroom before football games, and their "leader" is a plastic squeaky fish.

Has anyone else had a similar thing happen to them? In other words, are all you saxes that crazy or is it just my band?

PS- I don`t play sax, I`m on trombone/horn.

while my section is pretty nuts, we don`t do any of that stuff. haha. we sure act different then everyone else though. just more laid back

No, my sax section isn`t quite that crazy yet, but were almost there.

Im not in High school...I am the only one in my school who plays the sax...and in my band there are not very many of us...5 altos and a tenor...so we could not do stuff like that...it sounds fun tho

We are not all like that...ur saxophone people (no offense)is out of wack!!very weird...but it sounds like fun

You probaly just have the cream of the crop

we don`t exactly have that exact type of thing in our band, but i can assure you that our band is just as crazy, if not crazier, than yours. at football games, we sing random songs and yell random, slightly offensive, things at the other team. we even have been threatened with penaltys from the ref before.

haha, just compare us to the stickler trumpets, and we`re the exact opposite. Starting with the way we sit (slouch vs. trumpet perfect erect) and go fro there!
