Alot of modern Vitos are Yamaha 23`s. They have stamped `Made in Japan` on the body
olders ones include the "S" braced horn which is a rebadged Buescher 400 of when Selmer USA bought Buesher, older yet are French made horns which say `Made in France` on them.

There are others too, such as the modern Taiwan/China horns.

a good way to find out how old it is is by going the the site of whatever brand it is and looking up the serial #. thats how i found out the age of my gc conn c melody sax.
