I have been playing alto sax now for 4 years. I currently play a (beginner) vito leblanc alto and am beginning to become dissatisfied with it. Can you recommend an alto that is within the 1000-1500 price range that will get me through the rest of high school (I’m a freshman) and into college? I have been looking at a Jupiter 869SG Artist Alto Saxophone. Is this sax any good?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am playing alto sax. I suggest that u go for yamaha rather than jupiter. Maybe only my country experience that. All the jupiter brand instrument @ my band is either spoilt or rust within a few years. However, do some research n don base completely on my advice

olds is a solid good intermediate horn. alot of ppls at my school had em. ya, i hate vitos
