problems playing high A

on alto when I play high G and then high A there is a big difference in how it sounds. High G sounds normal but high A sounds very airy, it sounds airy on my other sax also, is it my embrochure or is it airy on all sax`s. is there like a quick tune up i can do

yeah just normal high G, When i play normal high G and then normal high A, A sounds very airy compared to high G. Thats my problem.

maybe your mouth is to tight,
- or rather, from G to A, the octave pads switch, and one could be sticking or something. (the pad on top of the neck and one on the side, they change at that note transition i belive, though i`ll have to go look and make sure)

TUNE WITH A CLARINET LIKE YOU WOULD BEFORE A BALL GAME. MAYBE IT IS JUST OUT OF TUNE REALLY BAD.

A is naturally a very strange note most likly it is the pads
