on alto when I play high G and then high A there is a big difference in how it sounds. High G sounds normal but high A sounds very airy, it sounds airy on my other sax also, is it my embrochure or is it airy on all sax`s. is there like a quick tune up i can do

maybe your mouth is to tight,
- or rather, from G to A, the octave pads switch, and one could be sticking or something. (the pad on top of the neck and one on the side, they change at that note transition i belive, though i`ll have to go look and make sure)

TUNE WITH A CLARINET LIKE YOU WOULD BEFORE A BALL GAME. MAYBE IT IS JUST OUT OF TUNE REALLY BAD.
