Tell me fellow sax men, preferably tenors. if u had a choice between the vintage Mark VI and the clone Reference 54. which would you chooose. keep in mind its not for collecting it will be put to good use under years of play time. Also imagine price is not a problem. i want your opinion soley on sax quality. If it helps a Fat jazz tone is wat i`m looking for.

Hey man, I`d go with the mark six. They tried to copy it with the r. 54 but its nothing like the mark six. It`s just the feel and sound you get when you are playin on it. The mula is a lil more, but its worth it!
