What sax should I play???    23:05 on Saturday, March 4, 2006

I want to play the saxophone, I've been playing flute for 2 years, and piccolo for one, and I have no idea which one I should choose.

Also, what is the hardest and easiest sax? (out of sop, alto, tenor and bari, not bass, contra etc...)

I'm 14 and in yr 10 at school, I have large enough hands and enough air.

Any responses are greatly appreciated, thanx.

Check out some of the other threads on this topic and they should be more than enough to answer your question.

Good Luck

though if you want ridiculous check out the flutes. Or at least they were bad before 8notes required screenames. You know I had literly about 20 different names I used then? some of the common ones were, Bretson (plus bretson1,2,3 and any other number), dave, sargeant johnson, saxplayer, selmer, trompit newbie (haha that was a funny one), davy crocket, stupid, ..., yourretarded, trumpetmaster.

totaly off topic, but the fondest post i ever did was posting in the trumpet forum asking which reads were best for trumpets... lol it worked, we had ppl really confused.

I have a very hard time believing you play on a pro level and spell on a 5 year old level.

Ok I cant stay away from it, If it took you only 2 weeks to start playing at a professional level then when can I hear you play the Creston Sonata or Improvisation et Caprice?
