Does anybody know where to find pictures of the Woodwind New York Limited Edition Soprano Saxophone. I`m looking at buying a soprano but the names of the body styles/covering/whatever(they`re handpainted) sound like they are really weird. Are they?

Check out this website http://www.music123.com/Item/?itemno=38285
The sax displayed on this page isn`t what you are looking for but there is a link at the bottom of the page for the soprano you are looking for. The link doesn`t work on my computer, for some reason, but try it on yours. Oh yah and make sure to check out the sax that the picture is of. It is a straight bodied tenor sax, made by LA, REALLY COOL!!!

My logic is if it plays well it`s in. If it plays poorly, it`s out. I don`t take easily to LA Sax.

Hay Tom,
I have no idea how it sounds, I have never tried one. I just think it is awesome because I have never seen anything like it before. What is wrong with LA that you don`t like? I think they are good, maybe not if you are like going pro or anything but they are good intermediate saxes.

I agree, but i still find more saxes that are more versitile, and in my opinion, better. And you can find those for cheaper.

http://www.saxpics.com has a lot of pictures of vintage saxes. A lot of them are pretty cool.

John,
Maybe I said that weird, I was saying that the straight bodied tenor I had never heard, but I have heard and tried a couple different LA ones and they sound pretty good. Personally they would not be my first pick but they would not be my last.
