I crashed my car early this morning and have to sell my tenor to pay for the damages.
It's a 1956 Conn 10M serial number 637xxx. The horn had a $900 overhaul put into it about
a year and a half ago -- pads, corks, felts, springs, etc are all still in great shape...
I had the neckstrap ring moved down about two inches so that the horn balances without
knocking you in the mouth -- there have been no other modifications. Original lacquer is
about 95% flawless. The octave mechanism is 'over-slung', the neck double-socket, and the
toneholes are not rolled. Overall this horn is absolutely killer. I paid way too much for
it years ago because I was so knocked out by its tone and presence and thought that I'd
never get rid of it, but thanks to my ineptitude behind the wheel, I now have no choice.
I am pricing the horn to move at $1500. Pictures are available upon serious request.
