I am trying to transribe a song for sax and i need some tips.

I have a song on the pirates of the caribbean 2 soundtrack I want to transrcibe so I can play it on my tenor sax.

O, when u say transcribe, do u mean listening to the song then put it in notation format? or do u mean u have a song for a different instrument that u want to be able to play on tenor sax?

I mean like listening to the song (which this song isn't played in tenor sax it is alot of instruments) and figuring out the notes. You can do it note by note or other ways. Or is there an easier way?

well not really unless its midi file less than 40 kb then u can use the midi converter on 8notes, other than that u hafta listen to it and wite it note by note

I see it. I can't find a pirates of the caribbean MIDI. Also is MidiNotate a good program to own?

so no MP3 on that program?
