when I play my saxophone(I'm new at it) on the inside of my mouth, under my bottom lip, its really hurting and I can see where my teeth are digging into the gum to make the reed vibrate. am I doing this wrong or will I get used to it?

Nah dont worry about it to much....my suggesttion play until it bleeds lol...nah really i think it happens to most of us after a while u develope a calus like thing there and it stops hurting unless you play heaps
anyone correct me if im wrong but thats what happened to me from my experience
