Hi everyone, I played tenor sax in high school (15 years ago) and always wanted to play soprano, so was thinking about getting a soprano sax now. I would only be playing it at home for my own enjoyment...
I see a lot of very cheap saxes on e bay. Can one get by with one of these cheap saxes as a start? I was thinking I could get one of these cheaps ones to see if I really do want to start playing again and if I find myself enjoying then invest in a better instrument.
Appreciate any thoughts folks can offer.
Thank you!
Greg.

Those saxes that are so cheap on eBay are imitation knock-off's of the good brands. It's tempting to buy them because of the price, but you will not be happy because they are almost always out of tune between registers.
