hi, what would you say is the average price of a full repad and overhaul of a student level tenor sax carried out by a competent dealer, and is it possible to carry out your own overhaul with no prior knowledge.

It depends where you go to overhaul. It is possibleto overhaul yourself, but I really do not recommend it. All I can say is don`t do it yourself! You could really screw up the horn!
