Can you recomend a good begginer sax?

I would highly reccomend buying a Yamaha Saxophone. Even though they are high in price(my alto was over $1000), their intonation and bright tone(dependent upon reed, mouthpiece, and embouchure, etc...) make it better than that 200 dollar sax at the pawn shop, which is probably out of tune and is in need of repair. Also, do you know what kind of sax you want?
