I am having a similar problem with my tenor. I play alto and tenor. When I play my alto my pitch is fine, however when I go over to my tenor I am horribly flat, one semitone to be exact. I thought it might be me, so I borrowed a tenor from a friend. When I played it, the sound was fine, close to perfect. I have tried moving the mouthpiece around, changing reeds and changing moutpieces but nothing seems to work. Does anybody know an easy way to fix this without going to get the sax repaired?

How is the cork on the neck of your saxophone? How far back and forth are you able to move the mouthpiece?

Here is a way to check your embouchoure:
Take your mouthpiece off your saxophone and play it, you should be playing a concert G, check it with a tuner, this should tell you whether or not your embouchoure is too tight or too loose.

it might be the sax... as in getting it repaired or serviced may be the only way.
have other people played your sax? is it the same with them?

When you tried your friend's, did you play your alto beforehand?? That might be the reason because the alto and tenor have different embouchures.

Then again, that doesn't explain why your flat. If you keep the tight embochure that you play with on your alto, that would make your tenor have a sharper tone...

Whatever!! Go with what everyone else said, but if push come to shove, try my idea...

Hope this helps!!
