windex-hell no, never EVER use that on an instrument
water- water causes cracking in woodwind instruments

buy a cleaning kit for ur entire saxophone, or if u just wanna clean off the fingerprints use a good polishing cloth

[clean it with water and a paper towel or cloth. donnot you the brown paper towels they do leave marks. I would not use windex or anything like the sometimes it leaves stuff on the sax.
hope this helped a little

I went to a music store asking the same thing and the guy said to use Windex. I used it on my other saxophone and it's still OK.
