after a concert we had sr band the next day and i wasnt playing much, i set my bari on my knee like you would for concert rest for any sax (well, not soprano, but get my point) and then after, like a hour later, we had gym, and i put my shorts on and noticed i had a bruse the size of my bell there. i went to the school nurse and she said it was a bruse from constant pressure. it hurt eventually, and is still there a bit, i think it broke a blood vessel really bad, well. oh well. i joined band cause our school doesent have a wresteling team. lol.
well, thats my story.

sounds painful. That is why I don't play bari. lol. Actually I might have to play bari since no one does. And the alto's are scaried of playing the bari. But oh well.

Oh, shame about your school not having a wrestling team! That's my sport! But at least now you're in band!

yeah well if out school had a wresteling team i'd kick a$$.
well once i was trying (and failing) to get outta the band room
in a rush of flutes and clarinets.
i tried to get past with music in one hand sax in other (bari) and
the thing falls on my face.
it bleed alot but hey, it was stupid for me to wrestle out.
then once in cadet band (which i quit cadets, so, bye bye) my
sax neckstrap was hitched on the little thing you snap it to and
it snapped down in the middle of the song hitting my mouth.
stick your tongue up with your mouth closed infront of your
front teeth. feel that peice of skin up there? mines ripped
apart.
lol, sax vs. player stories are funny.
