hey, band camp??

i was wondering wat happends their and if there is one nere me, i live in Sale,Victoria, Australia ???

Hey! I live in the states, but I think that band camp is pretty similar everywhere. If you're talking about what I think you're talking about, it's the band camp before school starts to get ready for the new marching season. Is that right? Or is it a summer band camp that has nothing to do with your school?

Ok, since you didn't really say what type[/] of band camp, I'll describe both.

Summer music camps are usually for a week, sometimes longer. They're full morning to sunset with activities, both music and non. Usually on college campuses. You can participate in ensembles, take music classes, take private lessons, listen to recitals, and participate in fun activities at night. This type is usually pretty expensive.

Band camp that we know most in the states occurs right before school starts up again. This is to begin preparation on that year's marching band show. This is for hours a day with the entire marching band. Sometimes refreshments are provided.

I don't know if there are any in Australia, because I live in the states. I'm sure that you could google it and get more information.
