Ok!! I've decided to name my alto sax!! Henceforth, his name shall be Felix!!

I did, actually. It also means "happiness". (I take Latin in school; this will be my 3rd year).

Felix is what i named my 1st pet... it was a cat.

I have a friend who names everything! He named his skateboard, his family's car, his alto sax, amd who knows what else!

My saxophone has the COOLEST NAME EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!he is a Bari Sax, so his name is Bari Saxi ( which kinda sounds like very sexy!!).
my clarinets name was Squiduard and my altos name was Donald Duck

I remember my Freshman year in high school when I started playing Bari-Sax, since the H.S. i was attending at the time was the first one in the whole town, it had these freakin old instruments. anyways, the Bari was 50+ years old!!(in working condition, might i add)since there was, like, a Star Wars fad back then, i decided to call it Yoda. To this day, the name has stuck, and the kids still call it.
I tell ya though...when i played in the Jazz band, that thing had like a mind of its own... I swear it would at least two thirds of the work for me

My alto's name is Amy, my Soprano is Mica, my tenor is George, and my bari(my favorite) is Matt. NOthing wrong w/ naming ur instrument!!!
