Are any of you auditioning for the CBDA (California Band Directors Association) High School honor band on the alto sax??

Why is it sooooo hard this year?? There's 5 scales (last year there were 3) and we have to play parts of 3 different songs...

The scales don't look so bad and they want you to take it slow 96bpm using sixteenth notes. However the Heiden sonata will be a little more challenging. I am doing the whole piece for a recital this semester. It looks like you only have to play short excerpts but they do want you to play the whole page of the 2nd movement and part of the presto on the third, the challenge will be getting it up to speed.
