I'm a trombone player, but I'm collecting information on baritone saxophones for a friend of mine. I knew the 12M from some other friend who had one some time ago, but I wanted some advice. Is it a good horn? Is it preferable to go for another model with the low-A key? How much would you pay for one of these old Conns?

I found one that costs 1895$, it has been completely overhauled and relacquered. Would it be a good investment?

try to find one with the low "A" key. Also find out if it is a student, intermietiate, or pro model.
