Sorry, I accidentally hit enter.

Secondly, I was wondering if "Amati," "Vienna by Woodwind," "DC Pro," or "Woodwind Paris" were good brands for a tenor saxophone. Any answers to my questions would be a great help, thank you.

first of all, dc pro and the like need to escape from your mind now. If you have your hopes up for playing tenor, and enjoying it, then you will want a somewhat reliable horn, maybe a used vito, or perhaps renting a studet yahmaha. (dc pro is an instrument that is homemade, so no way in heck!!!!!!) Vienna and Amati are also low quality instruments, If i were you, best not to take chances. Furthermore, I trust wwbw.com, and they have much to choose from. In there catalog they have Prelude Conn Selmer tenor for 679 (although cheap, conn selmer is a reliable company that should have warrantees). Also, If you buy a cheaper horn, I reccomend buying a nice mouthpice, and good reeds such as Vandoren, maybe a strength 2 or 2.5 as a tenor saxist myself, I wish you luck in experimenting, the tenor is such a joy and sounds great if you can handle the lower section, whicht can be a pain in the keister...
good luck
