Personally jacqui sure does not sound like a professional. I have played for over 30 years and have played with a few groups and anytime somone want`s to be exposed to music a true Musician will do anything to assist someone to learn what is the core of your being. A true Professional is passionate about there music. You started somewhere sounds like you need to grow up.

I just wonder what "Jacqui" is doing hanging around in a saxophone chatrooms. I do it too, but that is my problem.
Tip: skip the saxophone players for a short time and catch a bite of "Slim Gaillard". One of the first of the other intsrumentalist/performers to ride and stretch the theory and practice 0f the saxophonist/performer technique, Slim achieves controled mayhem through the use of stance, improvisational skills and genuine fine tone and ability.....with both voice, guitar and piano.

There is someone else who started a thread here saying that they were just beginning and needed some beginner songs and recommendations on a beginner sax.

They were called Jacqui, just like our `professional` friend who posted a message further up.

Ironic.
