I bought a packet of 10 J.Michael Tenor sax reeds size 3 from ebay for under ten bucks & they have a miraculous sound. They are made from a very dark wood compared to all the other reeds I have seen & they produce a very warm jazzy sound that I have been unable to attain from other reeds. Unfortunately I don't think the reeds are available anywhere anymore but I'd like to know if anyone has any ideas about where to buy these types of dark wood reeds from?
