Hi my name is Daniel. Hi mary ;P. Im a bari sax player. Im in 7th grade. First chair..only chair woot. Im really good considering my age. I can improvise like nobody`s business. Im in Jazz band and Concert band. I really dont enjoy Jazz music im more into symphonic music but since im in junior high we have no symphonic band. I play such music as: Im a beleiver, Louie Louie,The Pink Panther, Canyon Creek overture, Los Banditos.Those are mostly all I practice. I enjoy writing my own music and writing other parts for people and practicing with them. I play on an old scractched worn out selmer that only goes to low Bb because my parents wont buy me my own. So thatsa mouthful...

You should know how the rhythm goes, if you`ve ever seen the intro to cops, or seent he movie bad boys

`Bad Boyz` is cool, rock on man. Anyway, I
just made the high school jazz band, and the
director gave a metal jazz mouthpiece. I was
wondering if any of you could give some
pointers on using this new mouthpiece, I am
haveing a little trouble with it. Any
suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry Sam, just graduated from 8th grade, and I have no clue hwo to use one, maybe I`ll prolly go get one, cause I need to anyway, if I found I`ll let you know, I`ve heard the jazziest sound comes if you don`t grip the mouthpiece tight. -Moogle
