Hi, just wondering if there is a saxophone in the background of this song. There are three notes that are repeated (kind of a little burst of notes every once in a while in the song).

Is this a sax? A sample of a sax? Something else? And if it's a sax, what type?

Actually I did not hear a saxophone at all in that track. I did hear a vocalist sing the chorus and a rapper doing the verse. In fact the vocalist's part reminded me a lot of Alicia Keyes in New York State of Mind.
