Hello Everyone! I am asking for advice for a family member who bought an alto. It is a Buescher Elkhart ind USA. It seems quite old and needs some repair work. None of the low notes are sounding but high notes are singing really well. He was asking if its worth restoring? Prices seem very mixed and also I don’t know the make really well so I am not sure if its a student model. I played the mouthpiece that came with it which is Brilhartz 1* tonalin which sounds brilliant on my own sax. Any help would be really appreciated! Thank you!
