I have read in most places that when standing and sitting, you are supposed to keep a tenor sax to the right of your body. I find it much easier to hold it infront of my body, is this a problem, or should I change?

IT IS A MATTER OF PREFERENCE. WHILE MOST HOLD IT TO THE SIDE SOME HOLD IT IN FRONT OF THE BODY. WHICH EVER WAY IS COMFORTABLE TO YOU. IF SOMEBODY TELLS YOU THAT IT IS WRONG JUST GRAB YOUR HORN AND WASTE THEM AND THEY WILL WALK AWAY.
