I don`t have an ear for anything except that I know what sounds great...so, I find it inconceivable to listen to my music and play it on my alto sax. I listen to punk and that`s music that obviously isn`t availabe for me. However, this is one thing I`d really love to do. Can anyone tell me how it`s possible to translate guitar tabs into alto sax music? Thank you.

I know some of you get very irrate about downloading free music but here`s the deal.
I have three kids all under age 6. I want to play music for them on alto sax. (I am NOT very good and can`t play by ear.) I`m trying to find free sheet music for songs like, "take me out to the ballgame," "Old MacDonald," "chicken dance," that kind of thing. I have been to music stores and can not find song books with simple kid song selections. I don`t play enough to spend money on several music books to get a few of the songs I want to play. Know where I can get free alto sax sheet music for silly kid songs?
thanks and please don`t curse me out for wanting to download free sheet music for my kids. I doubt the guy who wrote "Old MacDonald" is cringing from the royalties he`s not getting if I do this. Thanks. clara
