Hi,
After my recent christmas spending Im considering doing some street busking. I was wondering can you just turn up at a spot and start busking or do you need a licence or something (Im from the UK). Also have any of you guys done it? How much money should I expect to make on a typical busy saturday. I am a reasonable standard (grade 8) and was going to do some unaccompanied alto and soprano sax or do you think I should bring a tape and improvise over it.
Any feedback is much appreciated.

I know in some towns you need to have some sort of licence, and you need to be of a decent standard (grade 8 should be fine). I don`t know how you go about that.. talk to the council and they can proabbly help you out.
As far as money, it depends where you`re from. People busking in the London tube can make £100s of pounds each day!
sorry, not much help really
Good luck!
