Hi there. I recently switched from the alto Sacophone to the Barritone. I can play it fine, but I have never read Barritone sheet music. I`m going to a high school music camp in about a month or so, and I was wondering if the sheet music if read on the came clef.
Thanks

I loved my switch from alto to bari; such a big meaty tone. You must remember:
1) Keep your embouchure loose.
2) Tons of breath support from your diaphram.
3) Move plenty of air.
Blend, but don`t be afraid to be heard.

Thank god that all the saxes read in the same clef, even Bass Sax and Sopranino. Of all the types out there, I must say that Bari is the most fun. Not only is it low and full, but once in a while you get sweet lines; not to mention you almost never play what anyone else in the sax section has, you`re normally with the trombones (in a jazz band), or with the tubas/baritones/euphoniums (in a concert band).
Have fun; and remember.. you`re the only bari sax there, so belch it out!
