How does one tune a saxophone, I am used to bass where you just twist the tuners, but I dont have a clue on sax

pushing your mouthpiece on a bit further will sharpen it and pulling it out will flatten it, but I don`t know if there`s more to it than that

Yeah that is basically it, go to a piano, or even your bass, play a Bb(if playing this on the bass play the highest one you can) and then play a G on the sax, either octave will work, the higher one is a better tuning note though, and then adjust the mouthpiece accordingly, push it in if it needs to be higher and pull it out if it needs to be lower, and unless you have a very porely made sax all your notes should be in tune.
