There`s a million different techniques, be more specific, and I`ll help ya out more.
One big one is tuning. An open C# is generally not in tune at all on the saxophone. I play C# with the octave key and the G key. The high C# is more in tune if you put the right hand keys down. A D is more in tune if you play the low B key along with it, this is more prominent on the middle line B.
Another big thing is the Forked F#, and knowing when to and when not to.

Never roll from bis Bb to B. Learn to love your side Bb.

for middle C# i would reccomend in a slow piece where the note is very exposed play it as close C# to cover up the natural buzz that comes with the open C#. finger a low C# use octave key and lip up a bit to get it.
Also basics are always best. keeping you fingers on the peral and having curved fingers helps technique dramatically. try playing your normal warm ups with your left pinky always on the G# key(without pressing it) its tougher than it seems. this forces your other fingers on your left hand to stay down with it. Also put your thumbs where they r meant to be. middle of your left thumb is on the middle of the pad. not slumped over the side. the right thumb rest is supposed to support the knucle on the thumb.
hope i was of some help
