Has anyone here heared of an electrix sax? (not the one with the mic in it).
From what I heared it`s supposed to be the coolest thing, you conncet it to an anplimphire and you can add effects or whatever. I`m try to get info on one but can`t seem to find anything on the net.
If any of you heared of it\found a website with info about it or anything of the sort please share =)

hmm i i`ve read abaut electric flute/sax i have the html but not the link it was a model of Yamaha u can play like a guitar,piano,violin and so on...u can use a flute fingering system or saxo fingering system When u are interested i`ll give u the html doc

it`s called an EWI (Electronic Wind Instrument). It`s MIDI based so you can pretty much get it to sound like any instrument you want, and add effects and what not. I`ve never played one myself, but I know Woodwind and Brasswind sells them. I also know Michael Brecker has started getting into playing it, I guess you can do a lot of cool stuff with it (if you`re into those kind of synthesized sounds).
