hi. im in my high school jazz band and i gotta real tough solo, its called "I`ve just seen her" and i got some of it but i dont now much on improv. its got a whole bunch of writin chourds ex.C#7 and stuff like that i only know a little abou that kinda stuff. does anyone know a good site that will teach you for free? or can someone explain it well to me please? thanks.

you dont have to know chords and stuff just play what sounds good. if it is in c sharp than you know that if you play around in the sharps than it will sound alright. 5ths are good if you get stuck.
