Anyone heard of the Fake Book CD being sold on Half.com?? I typed in "Fake Book CD" and it came up with this CD that has like 11 of the most popular fake books used by Jazz musicians for only 40 bucks. Then a friend of mine told me he had one and loved it. I`m just trying to see if anyone out there has bought one and if it`s worth the 40 bucks. It`d be nice to throw away the paper ones I have now since they`re falling apart. Plus, over 3000 tunes?? That`s crazy! Any comments on it??

yeah, i came across one of these once. it`s pretty sweet. saves the hassle of buying all those books

Hello all... For a while I have been selling my 26-book collection of real books and fake books on ebay, and I was having great success. Just recently, however, the Hal Leonard Production submitted a few complaints, even though I was`nt selling their books, and now my user account is suspended. My collection contains books of all keys! I was able to sell each collection on ebay for around $45, and I am now asking you for $30. That`s just a little over a buck a book. (Retail $40 a book) Plus I will ship for free!

I have seen sites that have scanned pages of the 3 New Real Books from Sher Music for download as well as on disk. But it seems when I find a site, it`s already shut down when the webmaster gets a "Cease and Desist" order...
