Hey, i`ve heard that alot of sax and clarinet players can basically pick up the baritone (brass, not sax) and play it fairly well. Also that most sax and clarinet players DO play the Baritone fairly well. I`m only wondering because i am getting extreemly bored with the Sax and want to delve into other instruments, im not to fond of another Woodwind and i want to try a brass. Any suggestions? Thanks

Going from a reed to non-reed or vice-versa depends on the player.
I picked up frenchhorn back in 1981 and I never had a real problem learning it or anything (after playing sax for 7 years). But it is completely different in all areas. Brass was always cheaper though (no reeds to buy all the time) and generally only 3 valves.
But, for me, the embouchure was much easier than on sax, clarinet or flute.
