I`m beginning to prepare the pieces for my Senior (high school) Recital several months away. I already have my classical pieces. I divide my time equally between my classical and jazz studies, but have never really done any jazz solos. For classical I`ve played:
Bozza Aria
Sonata No.3 - Handel
Eccles Sonata
That`s about the level I`m at, but have no clue what good jazz solos there are. I don`t just want to play something out of a fake book, but more of a REAL solo. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.
