how do you use tabs?

Ok I`m gonna sound like a total retard but how do you use tabs for the saxophone, or change tabs for trumpets into saxophone sheet music, I have no clue, please help! please don`t laugh at me!

are you talking about transposing from Eb to Bb? im not sure if you are. lol. but if you are transposing from Eb to Bb, take each note down 5 half steps, or up 7 half steps.  hope this is what you meant

hmm wait i may be wrong. im sorry if i am i haven`t taken music theory yet, and i just kinda taught myself how to transpose. i think thats right though... hehe
